MOGADISHU, Somalia - Just one day after the deadly siege at Hayat Hotel ended, details have emerged about how the militants managed to execute the attack, which remains the worst under the administration of Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who took over from Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.
The attack left 21 people dead according to government statistics but the number could skyrocket given the people who were injured in the Hotel. The attack has been condemned by various countries with the United States leading from the frontline.
