MOGADISHU, Somalia - The Federal Government of Somalia has refuted claims that its soldiers in Eritrea training camps were sneaked into the Tigray region where they took part in the war which has been castigated by thousands of people across the globe.
Last year, a report by the United Nations special rapporteur to Eritrea claimed a number of Somalia commandos training in Eritrea were taken to Axum and other parts of Tigray where they targeted innocent civilians in the war which has left thousands of people dead and others displaced.
